Kalmar FF’s Emin Nouri retires after the season

He ends his career as a football player after the season.

When Kalmar meets Malmö on Sunday in the season’s last home game, the faithful servant will be thanked.

“Even though I think I’m too good to put off, it feels surprisingly good to put my shoes on the shelf,” says Emin Nouri to the club’s website.

Emin Nouri came to Kalmar in the summer of 2008 and is the player with the second most Allsvenskan matches for the club. He participated in the gold season 2008 when Kalmar took his first and so far only Swedish Championship gold.

“I have spent almost my entire elite career in Kalmar and it feels wonderful to now be able to say thank you where my heart belongs.”

Kalmar’s remaining matches are at home against Malmö on 28 November and away against Hammarby on 4 December.
