The Prime Minister of Estonia, Kaja Kallas, has visited Ukraine this week to express support for the deoccupation of Ukraine and to visit places in the east of the country where Estonian financial assistance is being invested. reports the broadcaster ERR.
The visit takes place this week from Tuesday, May 18, to Wednesday, May 19,
“I want to return here when the occupation is over. On that day, we will be able to say: “This is Europe – complete and free,” Kallas said during a visit to eastern Ukraine.

The Estonian Head of Government has also indicated that Estonia will continue to support the conflict-affected region within the framework of the EU Development Cooperation Program. According to Kaja Kallas, in the Donetsk and Luhansk region, Estonia supports the modernization of 16 schools and kindergartens, provides Internet access to two villages, as well as helps local firefighters and war-torn seniors, ERR reports.
