I would not say that we sinned for lack of humility, but subconsciously, perhaps we thought that it was going to be done on its own, with a significant gap against a team that was presumed to be weaker.
Do you think that this first poor performance could have been linked to a physical problem?
The stats are good, I don’t think it’s physical. After a very good start where we deserved to open the scoring, there are things we didn’t do enough in the second half, especially in terms of deep runs… Now we have a very exciting to play on Saturday. It’s good that it happens there to put the heads back in place.
What does this Monaco team inspire in you?
Already, they have not been paid in their two matches against PSV. Football is sometimes cruel… It was a bit like us against Lorient. They dominated, they deserved it, but the efficiency was more important on the PSV side. It is a workforce cut for the Champions League, with two very high level players in each position. It is one of the best teams in the Championship.

We are looking for a more “impactful” player in the middle. We need people, a different profile from what we have, even if the young people show interesting things. Today, we have five midfielders.
