At the head of the procession is a large banner on which is written: “It is not disabilities that are killing our children, but the state.” There are also posters with the inscription: “Stop the genocide against children/disabled persons”.
Before that, parents gathered in front of the National Assembly building. At one point, a delegation with rulers left the parliament. Then the protesters started booing loudly. Meters from the triangle of power between the Council of Ministers, the presidency and the former party house, they began chanting: “Calfin is a liar” and “I want to be a refugee”.
Disgruntled parents have arrived from all over the country with their children, carrying black balloons and chans. The parents insist that the state has a more adequate social and health commitment to children with disabilities.
