On Saturday, the Sharjah Sports Council brought down the curtain on the competitions and activities of the Kalba Beach Games in its fourth edition, which was held in the Kalba public beach park, from November 8 to 16.
Witness the closing ceremony of the session; Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of His Highness the Governor’s Office in Khor Fakkan, together with Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of His Highness the Governor’s Office in Kulba, Sheikh Hani bin Mohsen Al Bahrani, Head of Al Amerat Club seat in the Sultanate of Oman, His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of the Sharjah Police, and His Excellency Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Abdul Malik Jani, Vice Chairman of the Council, and a group of heads of sports federations and clubs from various emirates of the country.
Dr. Yasser Omar Al-Dokhi, Chairman of the Events Committee at the Sharjah Sports Council and director of the competition, said that the fourth edition saw a large number of the public, over a full week of competitions in 23 sports games, and B participation is the largest number of its kind, since the number of participants in the tournament reaches about 4,000 players.
In a statement to Sharjah 24, Al-Dokhi expressed his sincere thanks to the various partners, sponsors and supporters of the success of the tournament, including government and private institutions, federations and sports clubs, as the combined efforts of various organizations and individuals contributed. to achieve the competition’s goals, in a civil way that won everyone’s approval.
