President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) met with the Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace, Central Jakarta. Prabowo Subianto has kept secret what he discussed with Jokowi at the Presidential Palace.
The news of Prabowo Subianto’s meeting with Jokowi at the Presidential Palace on Friday (6/1) was initially confirmed by Prabowo spokesman Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak. Dahnil explained that the meeting was part of the agenda of Prabowo’s routine report to Jokowi.
“Yes, routine government reports,” Dahnil said.
It later became known that Prabowo explained the agenda of the defense ministry’s leadership meeting in mid-January to Jokowi. Prabowo also invited Jokowi to attend the Kemhan event.
