Mr. Myeong appeared on YouTube’s ‘Jeong Gyu-jae TV’ and said, “I didn’t really think that my brother (who he was) would be a problem, and I posted it (on Facebook) about the trust she had in me.”
On the 15th, Mr. Myung posted the KakaoTalk conversation he had with Ms. Kim on Facebook. In the released KakaoTalk message, Mr. Myeong said that when the other person saved as ‘Kim Geon-hee/Mrs. (President Yoon Seok-yeol)’ asked, “What does this mean?”, he replied, “When I meet Jun-seok (presumed to be Representative Lee Jun-seok of the New Reform Party) tomorrow, I will get an accurate answer. “I will contact you tomorrow.”
In response, the other person saved as Mrs. Kim said, “Yes, you are having a hard time. Please forgive my brother for talking immaturely. I’m at a loss. That’s just the way it is when you’re ignorant. He is said to have said, “I apologize.”

The President’s Office said at the time that this ‘brother’ was Mrs. Kim’s biological brother, but it was not until three days after the conversation was made public that Mr. Myung confirmed that the President’s Office’s explanation was correct.
After the explanation from the President’s Office three days ago, Myung said, “Ms. Kim’s older brother does not know the political details. He said, “I am not the person to discuss politics,” raising the interpretation that the older brother in the KakaoTalk conversation was President Yoon Seok-yeol, further intensifying the controversy in the political world.
However, in interviews with other media outlets that day, Mr. Myung repeatedly stated, “It is true that my brother is Mrs. Kim’s biological brother.” Regarding his failure to clearly state his position on the controversy surrounding his brother, he said, “I was joking (to the media). “It was a troubling issue for the media,” he claimed.
In addition, Mr. Myeong said about Mr. Kim Jin-woo on YouTube, “I met him twice, and he said, ‘If my brother-in-law becomes president, it would be better to do nothing,’ and ‘Jeong, then, I think it would be better for me and I to travel around the country and listen to the public sentiment and report on the public sentiment.’ “I just said it,” he claimed.
He said, “I am constantly being attacked because of fake news, and the final destination of the attacks is probably Mrs. Kim,” and added, “I wonder how embarrassing it must be for Ms. Kim and the President’s Office when they are suffering like this.”
