Kajol Speaks Out: The Impact of Education and Uneducated Political Leaders in India

Bollywood actress Kajol says that seasonal changes are very slow in a country like India. Kajol said that education has a big role in such changes but uneducated political leaders rule here. Kajol’s frankness was in an interview given to The Quint.

“In a country like India, changes happen very slowly. We are steeped in our tradition. Education has a big role to play in making changes happen. But uneducated political leaders rule here. I’m sorry to say this. But it cannot be said, that is the truth.’- Kajol said.

About taking a break from films, Kajol said: I can’t agree with the words ‘take a break’ and ‘come back’. It’s all part of life. Not making films doesn’t mean I’m just sitting around. That period of my life is not wasted..

Kajol’s latest releases are Salaam Venki and Lust Stories 2 directed by Revathi. Kajol is playing the female lead in Karan Johar’s latest film. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan are playing other characters in the film.
