On Tuesday, the pro-life activist informed on FB that she had filed a “notification of a crime and a request for personal protection in the mode of assistance for the witness and the victim” to the police. She also published photos from the vicinity of her estate, showing such inscriptions as “Godek kills women” and vulgar insults against her.

Last week, when the Constitutional Tribunal announced its verdict on embryopathological abortion, pro-life activists gathered before the Tribunal applauded and shouted: “Thank you” and “Poland is on the side of life”. Some of them then approached Kaja Godek, took her in their arms and started tossing her.

We have confirmation that the selection and killing of children suspected of genetic defects or disease is inconsistent with the Polish constitution – Godek later told journalists. As she said, “the right to life has been recognized because this right to life is and results from the natural law”. She added that now “this law has been recognized in relation to children who were previously considered inferior.”

Godek thanked everyone who signed and collected signatures on this matter. Today Poland is an example for Europe, it is an example for the world. We are not stuck in a historical necessity that would order a march to the left and a gradual increase in the availability of murdering people. We are not stuck in such determinism. It is possible to protect life, it is possible to act pro-life regularly, which brings effects – said the initiator of the “Stop Abortion” project and the founder of the “Życie i Rodzina” Foundation.

On Tuesday, the Warsaw Women’s Strike published not only its address and telephone numbers on one of the social networks. Personal data was also provided, including to the judge of the Constitutional Tribunal, Krystyna Pawłowicz, the PiS MP Bartłomiej Wróblewski and the president of the March of Independence Association, Robert Bąkiewicz.

Protests of many thousands against the tightening of the abortion law have been going on since Thursday, when the Constitutional Tribunal found a provision unconstitutional that allowed – under the 1993 Act – abortion to be allowed in the event of a high probability of severe and irreversible fetal impairment or an incurable disease that threatens its life.
