The Kaiyi company has begun sales of the compact crossover X3, according to a press release obtained by Autonews.ru. The car is available on the Russian market in two trim levels: Comfort and Luxury.
In the cheapest version, the car is equipped, among other things, with a stability control system, heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel and rear-view mirrors, a 10.25-inch multimedia system and a seven-inch virtual instrument panel. Prices for this configuration range from RUB 2,117,650 to RUB 2,220,950.

The top-end Luxury version has a different grille, 18-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, a rear view camera with dynamic markings, roof rails and a number of additional features. The cost of the configuration is RUB 2,282,930.
The Kaiyi X3 front-wheel drive crossover is built on the same platform as the Chery Tiggo 4, but differs from it in size and appearance. The crossover’s ground clearance is 158 mm.
The car is equipped with a non-alternative 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a power of 113 hp, which works in conjunction with a five-speed manual or CVT.
Earlier, Autonews.ru reported that the Chinese Kaiyi E5 sedan, which is produced at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad, received a new “sports” modification called Luxury Sport on the domestic market. The new product has become the most expensive configuration of the model and costs RUB 2,193,000.
