The President of the Republic met this Friday with Malek Zahi, the Minister of Social Affairs. They notably discussed the latter’s participation in the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
During this exchange, the two men discussed the extension of Tunisia’s membership in the executive office of the aforementioned Council.
The Minister of Social Affairs also informed the President of the Republic of the content of the talks he had on the sidelines of the conference and in particular the desire of Saudi Arabia and several brother countries to support the Tunisian economy and ” support Tunisia in all areas, including those related to social affairs.
The meeting was also an opportunity to take stock of the social situation in a number of sectors in Tunisia and the need to find solutions to all the problems that have accumulated over the past decades.
