Concern prevails in Maximos, regarding the developments regarding the wiretapping scandal, as the decision of the Council of State to judge as unconstitutional the failure to inform him Nikos Androulakishas produced new data.
Specifically, Mr Dimitris Kairidesspeaking to Sky, reported on the meeting between the president of PASOK and its leader ADAE, Christos Rammos that “here we are dealing, either with a political leader who does not know the law, or with political theater. I stand by the decision of the Supreme Court, where it declared the law of 2021 as unconstitutional, where in the meantime it had been replaced by a new law of 2022, which provides for a specific procedure for informing the person being monitored, for reasons of national security”.
In addition, the Minister of Immigration and Asylum pointed out that the 1994 law is being revived. “The 1994 law is a PASOK law. The law of 1994 says that there is no justification in the prosecutor’s order of the legal link, for reasons of national interest in the AIAEA. So Mr. Rammos does not have the justification to inform Mr. Androulakis”
Fears of discussing wiretapping before the European elections
