Kaiden Guhle comments on the reason for CH’s setback

Kaiden Guhle is having a colossal start to the campaign, nothing less. The 22-year-old defender has settled in offensively, already posting a goal and three assists in four games.

Like Lane Hutson and Cole Caufield, he offers big hockey to his head coach Martin St-Louis, who is very pleased by the prowess of his young defender.

On the other hand, Guhle, just like Juraj Slafkovsky, is a gamer and a natural competitor, so if things don’t work out in favor of the Montreal Canadiens, he stands like the leader that he is.

“If you want to win consistently in this league, you shouldn’t have to be motivated to go out and do the right things on the ice, especially in the first 10 minutes. I think this is probably the most important part of the game, if not the most important. We weren’t ready tonight!” – Guhle

During the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday night, Guhle threaded the needle, scoring his first goal of the campaign on a perfect pass from his partner, Mike Matheson.

Let us add to this that he stopped a total of four shots, against the Penguins, bringing his total to 18 in just four games. He is certainly at the forefront of his people in this regard.

Casually, Guhle remains the most constant defender of Sainte-Flanelle. Number 21 was the only brigadier in his group to have crowned his evening of work in the positive column (plus-1).
