Kai Havertz Could Leave Chelsea in the Summer

London

Kai Havertz currently facing the uncertainty of the future in Chelsea. The Germany international is likely to be sold at the end of this season.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder joined Chelsea after being signed in a €85 million deal from Bayer Leverkusen in 2020. Havertz has made 119 appearances with 29 goals and 15 assists, including scoring the Blues’ winning goal in the Champions League final.

Despite this, Havertz never really reached his full potential at Chelsea; not under the tutelage of Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel, or the current manager Graham Potter.

Sky Sport Germany reported, the next few months will be crucial for Kai Havertz. Chelsea will make a decision regarding his future in May or June.

If Havertz does enter the list of players for sale, Chelsea will sell the player for 60 million euros. Havertz himself is still bound by a contract until 2025 and only wants to join a club that plays in the Champions League.

Bayern Munich is predicted to be a potential destination for Kai Havertz. However, recently Bayern confirmed that they are not interested in recruiting Havertz.

in this season, Havertz just made six goals and one assist in 19 matches Chelsea. Havertz’s efforts to convince Chelsea to be maintained will continue when they have a home game against Fulham in the Premier League, early next month.
