Kai Havertz: Arsenal’s Highest-Paid Player and Arsenal’s Transfer Plans

Kai Havertz just joined Arsenal this summer. Havertz immediately became the highest paid player at Arsenal.

Havertz was recruited by Arsenal from Chelsea in the transfer market this summer. The player from Germany was brought to the Emirates Stadium after being redeemed for 67.5 million pounds.

The Havertz transfer is an affirmation of Arsenal’s determination to increase the competitiveness of its squad. The Gunners are also working on signing Declan Rice from West Ham United for a fee that will reportedly break a British record.

The amount that Havertz received could be even higher if you count the bonuses. Arsenal reportedly also offered a salary that was not much different for Declan Rice.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta considers Havertz a key player for the Gunners next season. Arteta has been impressed by Havertz’s versatility.

“Kai is a top quality player. He is versatile and intelligent. He will add strength and variety to our midfield,” said Arteta.
