Jakarta

KAI demanding accountability for Ustaz Ahmad Yasin, the driver of the Honda Mobilio, after the KRL accident at the Jl Rawa Geni level crossing, Citayam, Depok. What was Ahmad Yasin’s response?

“Why should it be sued? People want cross how come the train (crossing gate) should have provided the correct area, not manual,” said Ahmad Yasin when contacted detik.comWednesday (20/4/2022).

Ahmad Yasin said he was innocent in this accident. Because, according to him, he passed while the crossbar was still open.

“I am not at fault myself, because earlier the latch was open, not closed,” he said.

According to him, KAI should have made a safe crossing gate so as not to cause casualties.

“KAI (should have) made the correct doorstop, so that it doesn’t kill the victim. Thank God I was saved,” he said.
