KAI Commuter Cancels 70 Trips Starting Friday Night, Passengers Are Asked to Adjust Departure Schedule All

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – KAI Commuter canceled 70 trips for Electric Rail Train (KRL) from Friday (27/5/2022) night to Saturday (28/5/2022) in the morning in connection with the work on switch over (SO)-5 at Manggarai Station, South Jakarta.

KRL passengers are also advised to adjust their departure schedule.

“The adjustment of the electric train (KRL) trip will take place from 20.00 WIB until Saturday (28/5/2022) at 03.30 WIB,” said Vice President (VP) Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter Anne Purba in Cikini, Central Jakarta, Friday.

According to Anne, starting at 20.00 WIB, line 3 of Manggarai Station will be closed for train travel during the 5th SO work.

This partial adjustment of the schedule, said Anne, was carried out to ensure the safety of KRL travel.

“Especially for KRL trips that will pass on lines 1, 2, and 3 at Manggarai Station and KRL trips that will cross towards Bukit Duri,” he said.

In addition to the cancellation of 70 trips, 12 operation patterns will also be adjusted.
