Kahramanmaraş tradesman support fair in Ankara

Kahramanmaraş solidarity days organized by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) for the tradesmen who were affected by the earthquake started.

On the days of solidarity in Kahramanmaraş at ANFA Altınpark Fair and Congress Center, shopping stands where 100 tradesmen from the region were selling were set up.

Samet Çiftarslan, member of the board of directors of Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry, gave information about the fair to AA correspondent and said that half of the production facility and two sales shops were destroyed in the earthquake.

Pointing out that the tradesmen of Kahramanmaraş are in a very difficult situation and that the industrial group should be supported in such natural disasters, Çiftarslan noted that they decided to open this fair in order to relieve the pain of the tradesmen.

Stating that there were tradesmen who were damaged in the earthquake, from cosmetics to food, clothing and leather industries, at the fair, Çiftarslan said that this initiative would be a lifeline for the tradesmen and that the public was also very sensitive.

THE INCOME OF THE JEWELRY WILL BE DONATE TO THE CHILDREN WHO LOSE THEIR MOTHERS AND WHO LEFT ORPHANS IN THE EARTHQUAKE

Ayşe Palabıyık, Trainer for Children with Special Needs, who voluntarily supports the shopkeepers, stated that they offer the jewelry designed by Çiğdem Nalçacı, who was lost in the earthquake and could not be found yet, at the jewelry stand.

Palabıyık stated that Nalçacı’s son Eren, who is still under treatment, wanted them to open this stand on behalf of his mother, and said that the income will be donated to Eren and other earthquake survivors like him, who were left without parents.

“May God DEFEND OUR STATE”

The owner of the clothing store Şeyma Erdem stated that they received great support from Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş.

Ferdi Tıraş, who said that three of the five ice cream shops were destroyed, also thanked the people of Ankara for their support during the difficult time they were going through, and said:

“Both of my sons were trapped under the wall in the earthquake. We barely got out of the rubble. This fair has given us both morale and financial support. My family is staying in a tent in Kahramanmaraş and the children are afraid. They can’t get out of the tent anywhere because we pulled it out from under the wall. We are going through difficult times. May my Lord not let the Ummah experience such a situation again.
