BEDS, Wash.
Kägwerks, the world’s leading provider of tactical operator-worn network solutions, announces that it has received its largest order to date for the DOCK Lite chest strap network nodeTM famous. The $24 million contract mandates the use of the DOCK LiteTM in other combat units.
Das DOCK LiteTMsystem combines a robust EUD chest mount solution with a network hub to connect various soldier-worn radios, peripherals such as the Army’s Enhanced Night Vision Goggles (ENVG-Bs) and soldier-worn data sources. The DOCK LiteTM-Hub supports both wired and secure intra-soldier wireless (ISW) network connections, reducing cable clutter, weight, bulk and cost for each soldier while improving their situational awareness and combat effectiveness.
“We are delighted to support the Nett Warrior program and fully appreciate the trust the Army has shown in Kägwerks to provide this important solution to the soldier,” said James Schueren, CEO of Kägwerks. “The DOCK LiteTMplatform and next-generation systems under development will support the tactical operational needs of infantry, special forces, customs and border protection, law enforcement and first responders going forward.”
