Chairman of PSI, Kaesang Parangep, denied that he would run as governor of DKI. He emphasized that he was still focused on winning PSI in the 2024 elections.
It is known that some time ago Kaesang visited Pluit Reservoir, North Jakarta (Jakut) to hear many complaints from the local community. According to him, this was not in the context of running as governor of DKI Jakarta.
“Oh no (as Governor of DKI Jakarta), we support young nationalist figures or those who are young at heart to be able to lead DKI in the future,” said Kaesang to journalists, East Jakarta, Friday (29/9/2023).
“For now I am focused on winning PSI in the 2024 elections,” he added.
Previously, Kaesang Pangarep visited the Pluit Reservoir. Kaesang said he heard many complaints from local people.
“Yes, this is one way for me to understand what the situation is in society. So far I have focused more on business,” said Kaesang when met at Pluit Reservoir.
“This time I want to know directly what the problems are in society. How do I do it? Yes, I have to go directly to the community to hear directly from all of them,” he continued.
