The youngest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Kaesang Parangep, appointed as Chairman of PSI. Kaesang was appointed as Ketum PSI a few days after becoming a member and receiving KTA PSI.
Kaesang was appointed as Chairman of PSI during Kopdarnas PSI at Djakarta Theater, Central Jakarta, Monday (25/9/2023). In this event PSI announced Kaesang Pangarep Ketum PSI.
“Let’s welcome our new chairman, Bro Kaesang Pangarep,” said PSI DPP Chairman Cheryl Tanzil as the event host.
Kaesang was welcomed by all PSI cadres up to the PSI DPP leadership. PSI cadres shouted ‘Bro Kaesang’ when Kaesang came on stage.
“Please give us a big round of applause for our general chairman, Bro Kaesang,” said PSI politician Faldo Maldini.

Kaesang Pangarep was present at Kopdarnas PSI with Erina Gudono at the location at 19.20 WIB. Both are compact in black and white.
Kaesang Pangarep previously officially joined PSI. After joining, Kaesang answered the issue of himself becoming General Chair of PSI replacing Giring Ganesha.
“I’m still a member. Well, I’ll just pray,” said Kaesang, as reported detikjateng, Saturday (23/9). Kaesang answered questions about his plans to become PSI General Chair.
Kaesang said that by joining PSI, he wanted the youth party to be able to have more of a say in the country’s political arena.
Erina Gudono’s husband gave an example of the achievements of the Move Forward Party (MFP), which succeeded in winning the most votes in the Thai elections.
To fulfill his goal of bringing PSI through to Senayan, Kaesang will fight as a PSI member or cadre first.
