Kaesang enters RK Cawagub exchange in DKI, Golkar is open about PKS proposal

Vice Chairman of the Party GolkairAhmad Doli Kurni revealed several names on the list of candidates for deputy governor Ridwan Kamil As DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election 2024.

Doli revealed several names that were included in the exchange, namely from PSI General Chairman Kaesang Pangarep, Jusuf Hamka, Riza Patria, to Zita Anjani.

According to Doli, the name of Kaesang’s candidate for governor will still be discussed by the Indonesian Progressive Coalition (KIM) and the parties that will join later.

“The name Pak Kaesang came out of PSI, then we suggested the additional name Pak Jusuf Hamka, then PAN suggested Mrs. Zita at that time,” said Doli at the Widya ministerial center Chandra, Jakarta, Wednesday (7/8).

In addition to that name, Doli revealed that his party opened the names that would be suggested by new parties that would join KIM. Doli does not want to reveal the list of names.

However, his party is also open about the name proposed for the deputy governor, which was also reported by PKS. The party led by Ahmad Syaikhu had started to open dialogue about joining KIM.

“For example, if someone joins, we will accept whoever the leadership of the political party approves who names Ridwan Kamil as their deputy,” said Doli.
