JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry ( Woman) Indonesia Rosan P Roeslani warned laborer in order to comply health protocol when staging an action rally.
“We respect the workers’ decision to hold an action. But what needs to be reminded is that they must comply with health protocols,” said Rosan when contacted by Kompas.com, Tuesday (6/10/2020).
Rosan said it was important to implement health protocols so as not to create a new Covid-19 cluster.
Because, if a Covid-19 cluster occurs among workers, it will have an impact on company operations.
“There will definitely be a closure, so we must obey health protocols,” he said.
In addition, Kadin also respects the decision of workers to go on strike in response to the enactment of the Copyright Act.
“We respect that,” Rosan explained.
It was reported that today as many as 2 million workers have started a national strike.

The action has been held since Tuesday (6/10/2020) and is planned to be held until Thursday (8/10/2020).
This strike was a response to the ratification of the Job Creation Law by the DPR and the government on Monday (5/10/2020).
The Copyright Act was discussed through 64 meetings from April 20 to October 3, 2020. This law consists of 15 chapters and 174 articles.
