In a conversation with the right-wing Gazeta Polska Codziennie, Kaczynski said some countries were “unhappy that the German Fourth Reich could be built on the foundations of the EU.”
“If we Poles agree to this kind of modern exposure, we will be degraded [arī] otherwise, “added Kaczynski.
He also pointed out that the EU Court of Justice is being used as an “instrument” to implement federalist ideas.
During a visit to Warsaw in December by new German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Polish Prime Minister Matthew Moravecki said the federalization of the EU supported by the current German government was “utopian and therefore dangerous”.
