KACHIN, KOMPAS.TV – A Myanmar military junta helicopter was shot down by Kachin Rebels during an air strike.
The incident occurred in Momauk, Kachin state, Monday (3/5/2021) morning.
The incident was confirmed by Information Officer of the Kachin Liberation Army (KIA), Colonel Naw Bu.

“The incident occurred at 10:20 am today,” he was quoted as saying The Irrawady.
“The attack also scared the two fighter jets that accompanied the helicopter,” he added.
Local residents confirmed that a military junta helicopter had crashed after being attacked by KIA.
