Klagenfurt – The KAC has won the second Carinthian ice hockey derby of the season against the VSV. The last little convincing champion cheered on Stefanitag in front of the home crowd in the 340th edition of the duel over a 9-1 home win. The outstanding man in the highest derby win since 1988 was Nick Petersen with five goals. The first meeting two weeks ago in Villach was also clearly 4-0 to the Klagenfurt team.
