Responsibilities
- Translate and post local and national news to websites, apps, and social media.
- Accurately translate ABC7 news reports from English to Spanish.
- Collaborate with news managers and editors to coordinate on-air and online coverage.
- Manage special projects for various station departments, including sales, marketing, and community affairs.
- Ensure timely posting of breaking news across all digital platforms.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: applicants must have at least two years of experience, possess strong editorial skills and news judgment, and be proficient in AP Style. Excellent communication, writing, and copy-editing skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A solid understanding of basic HTML is also required.
