CONAKRY- The Guinean Football Federation (FGF) informs the public opinion, supporters of Syli National, and all partners that the cooperation with the coach of the national team Syli A, M terminated employees.
This decision was made due to the lack of performance on the sporting goals set by contract. The goal initially assigned to the departing staff was to advance Syli National A among the top 10 African countries in the FIFA ranking during a two-year evaluation period. Unfortunately, this goal was not achieved, resulting in the need for a strategic reorientation.
In order to guarantee an effective transition and ensure continuity in the preparation of the next deadlines, it was decided to establish a transition board responsible for the technical management of Syli A. This board will be in place until at least November 2024, time according to the end of qualification for the 2025 African Cup of Nations (CAN).
This board will be placed under the supervision of the National Technical Director (DTN) and will be coordinated by Mr. Michel Dussuyer, former coach of Syli National, known for his great knowledge and reputation in the world of football. His deep knowledge of African football and his previous experience at the head of the national team are key assets for this transitional period.
The board also includes Mr. Charles Paquille, former assistant to the national coach, who will take on the duties of a coach. His closeness to the players and his understanding of the internal dynamics of the team will be crucial to maintaining the cohesion and performance of the team. Mr. Souleymane CamaraSyli’s current coach of local players, also part of this board as an assistant to Mr. Charles Paquille, brings his knowledge and knowledge of local talents, which strengthens the connection between players abroad and those at home.
The Guinean Football Federation is confident that this transitional board will be able to increase the talents present in our selection, while at the same time providing a new impetus necessary to achieve the high sporting goals -a goal we have set for ourselves to achieve..
