Kaaris offers a big promotion in the United States!
This year, Kaaris will celebrate the 10th anniversary of a French rap classic, his album “Or Noir“. To celebrate this event, Riska will be present at the Ardentes festival scheduled for Thursday July 6 to Sunday July 9 to perform excerpts from this project on stage in front of its audience.
The first part of Or Noir is undeniably the album of the rapper from Sevran who has had the greatest impact on French rap listeners. “Or Noir” is indeed a mythical album in the discography of Kaaris which launched his career allowing him to obtain greater notoriety.
An album that marked a whole generation of listeners
This opus allowed the Sevranais rapper to reveal himself to the general public, and he marked the history of French rap, like other classics such as “L’École du Micro d’Argent” by IAM, “Mauvais Œil” by Lunatic or the album “Suprême NTM”. This 17-track project with the singles “Zoo“, “LEF” with Booba, “Or Noir”, “Bouchon de liège”, “Paradis ou enfer” or even “Bizon” was reissued a few months later, in March 2014 with 11 new titles including the tracks “SEVRAN”, “Chargé” and “Sombre”.
Released on October 21, 2013, the platinum-certified project will be ten years old at the end of the year. Kaaris celebrated this anniversary in concert on July 2, a show at the Yard Land Festival then he will continue the initiative this July 7 in Belgium at the Ardentes festival. In the meantime, Riska has offered international publicity in the United States with a huge poster of the album “Black Gold” in the streets of New York in Times Square.
