K5 Robot Enhances Security at Times Square Subway Station

It’s called K5, it’s a robot that will patrol the Times Square subway station to help the police ensure security.
The robot measures 1m60, weighs 180kg and moves at up to 4.8km/h.
It is also equipped with 4 cameras that film 360 degrees.
How it works? The principle is simple: if someone witnesses danger, they can press one of its buttons to contact a police officer directly. On the other hand, the robot does not use facial recognition and does not record audio either, for reasons of privacy.
