K Sudhakaran justifies his common mind leaning on Nehru : CM

Thiruvananthapuram | Prime Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said the KPCC chairman, who is justifying his community-mindedness and love of RSS by leaning on Nehru, is a symbol of Congress’s decadence. “Jawaharlal Nehru had a great mind ready to reconcile even with communal fascism,” KPCC chairman K. Sudhakaran said. That too on Children’s Day when the country remembers Jawaharlal Nehru. In a statement, the prime minister asked what glory he saw in whitewashing the RSS.

Jawaharlal Nehru was a leader who was completely secular minded. In a letter to the Prime Ministers of 7 December 1947, he explained the nature of the danger posed by the RSS: “The RSS An organization in the nature of a private army, it certainly remains strictly Nazi in character”.

In another letter, he warned against making claims that the RSS was not a political organization.

In a letter to the Prime Ministers on February 5, 1948, shortly after Gandhiji’s assassination: “It is true that the conspirators in Gandhi’s assassination have made few but successful efforts to infiltrate their cells into various government institutions and services. We must crack down and clean up the administration and services”. Nehru wrote.

It is surprising that the person who leads Congress in a state is not even aware of the historical fact that Nehru was the Chief Minister of India when Shyam Prasad Mukherjee was arrested in 1953 for entering Kashmir in violation of Article 370.

Congress has always had communists and RSS partisans of Sudhakaran’s mental state. What great sense of democracy lies dormant in the Congress action of appointing Shyamaprasad Mukherjee as minister under pressure from these people? Comparing Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Dr. Ambedkar not only distorts history, Dr. Ambedkar is also insulted.

The real members of Congress have a responsibility to respond to Sudhakaran’s attempt to equate his actions with Jawaharlal Nehru after he said he would join the BJP if he felt like it and sent someone to protect the RSS branch.

By killing Gandhi, the Hindutvas set the stage for their common agenda. It was then Prime Minister Nehru who banned RSS. Only the RSS will be happy if that Nehru is portrayed as a leader who betrayed the RSS. The Prime Minister has asked them to clarify whether it is Congress policy to make them happy.
