COVID-19 lost the beloved Bulgarian father Stefan Dimitrov, who spent the last 7 years in Milan, where he was responsible for the Bulgarian church community in the Italian city, reports Flagman.bg. During the early months of the pandemic, he was one of the few to report from abroad on the situation in the West.

Father Stefan was an important figure for all Bulgarian Christians in Milan. He was born in 1982 and lived in Russia until he was 7 years old. He completed his bachelor’s and master’s degree in theology at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski ”. He was married.
The father died late last night in a Sofia hospital. He arrived in Bulgaria from Milan last week, in an already serious condition, which unfortunately has not improved despite the treatment.
His relatives will remember him as an always smiling and extremely friendly person.
