Cases of COVID-19 in Turkey jumped to 12,381 today, the highest level since mid-May and nearly three times the low recorded in early July.
Most of the last restrictions were lifted this month. This is shown by data from the Ministry of Health, quoted by Reuters, BTA reported.
There are 58 deaths from coronavirus.
The number of infected remains much lower than the wave in April and May, when new cases exceeded 60,000. They fell to 4,418 on July 4 as a result of a severe lockdown that ended in mid-May.
