237 are newly diagnosed with coronavirus infection in Bulgaria for the last 24 hours, 21 of which were detected by PCR, and 216 – by rapid antigen tests. 63.29% of the new cases proven during the past 24 hours are of people who have not been vaccinated, according to the Unified Information Portal.
A total of 2,043 tests were performed during the last 24 hours. 236 of them were PCR and 1,807 were antigenic.

The proven cases of the new coronavirus in our country are currently a total of 1,153,129. The active cases are 156,682. 959,593 people have already been cured. 51 of them have been registered in the past 24 hours.
A total of 897 patients with confirmed COVID-19 were admitted to hospitals. There are 105 of them in intensive care units or clinics. There are 24 new patients in the hospital, of which 87.50% have not been vaccinated, according to data from the Unified Information Portal.
At present, 4,376,568 doses of vaccines against coronavirus infection have been administered in Bulgaria. During the past 24 hours, 11 of them have been applied.
The national information system shows that the medical staff who were diagnosed with the new coronavirus in our country are a total of 24,366. A new case of a doctor has been registered in the last 24 hours.
36,854 are the deceased in whom COVID-19 has been proven. Five new cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. 80% of the dead have not been vaccinated. They died:
a 62-year-old woman with heart disease and obesity;
an 89-year-old woman with heart and chronic neurological disease;
an 85-year-old man with heart and chronic liver disease;
a 66-year-old man with heart disease;
an 83-year-old man with heart and chronic kidney disease
