JWST Sends New Images of Saturn: Explore them on JWST Feed

Space telescope JWST (James Webb Space Telescope) sent new images of the planet to Earth Saturnwhich you can view on the website JWST Feed. They were taken by the NIRCAM (Near Infrared Camera), which is the telescope’s primary imaging tool and which covers wavelengths from 0.6 to 5 micrometers (ie 600 to 5000 nm).

This makes it possible to record a smaller part of the light that is still visible to the human eye, but mainly the part that is already invisible to humans. These are primarily cooler red stars, which are therefore easily visible, while star dust, on the other hand, appears transparent to the telescope.
