Young Juventus winger Samuel Iling-Junior has attracted interest from three Premier League clubs: Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Brighton & Hove Albion. Despite his promising previous season, Iling-Junior has struggled to get consistent playing time in the current campaign. With just 129 minutes in six substitute appearances, there has been speculation about him leaving in the January transfer window.
Tottenham leads the race
Tottenham appear to be leading the race to sign Iling-Junior, with recent reports linking him to the club managed by Ange Postecoglou. However, Aston Villa and Brighton have also shown interest in the England under-21 international.
Juventus, faced with uncertainty over the player’s future, are reportedly willing to listen to offers in the range of 18 million euros (£15.6 million). Although all three Premier League clubs have made initial contacts, no formal offers have yet been made.
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is looking to strengthen his squad in January, considering Iling-Junior as an option, along with other players such as Manor Solomon and Ryan Sessegnon, who are currently sidelined with injuries. Brighton, qualified for the last 16 of the Europa League, is also looking to strengthen its forward line due to injuries in its squad.
