Jakarta –
Juventus reportedly interested in recruiting Gianluigi Donnarumma. But before realizing that move, the Bianconeri will likely have to sell Wojciech Szczesny.
Donnarumma is confirmed to be a free agent in July. The 22-year-old goalkeeper did not extend his contract with AC Milan.
The Rossoneri themselves have found a replacement. They have just announced the inauguration of Mike Maignan as a brand new portiere. Now it was Donnarumma’s turn to look for a new port.
Together with Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Barcelona, Juventus mentioned as the next destination. It’s not impossible, because the Old Lady’s relationship with Mino Raiola as an agent Donnarumma also good.
It’s just that, Donnarumma’s arrival will certainly have an impact on Szczesny. Tuttosport reported that Juventus had to release the Polish goalkeeper before they could bring in Donnarumma.
This is fairly reasonable. If both are at Juventus, then one of them will warm up the bench. This condition may be difficult to accept, considering that both are goalkeepers for their respective national teams.
After being a substitute for Gianluigi Buffon in his first season with Juventus, Szczesny obviously reluctant to return to being a deputy for Donnarumma.
Another problem is the salary issue. Juventus have to spend a lot if you want to maintain both.
Currently, Szczesny is reportedly earning a salary of 6.5 million Euros per season. His contract in Turin expires in 2024. Meanwhile, Donnarumma left Milan after refusing a salary of 8 million Euros per season in his new contract proposal.

He reportedly asked for 10 million Euros per season. Not to mention having to give a commission to Raiola which amounted to 15-20 million Euros. Therefore, spending a lot more expensive than before for the goalkeeper sector will feel redundant for you Juventus.
Donnarumma currently undergoing a training camp with the Italian national team which will depart for Euro 2020. Likewise with Szczesny also called the Polish squad.
