Juventus qualify for the Coppa Italia semifinals and will face Fiorentina. Juventus’ new striker Dusan Vlahovic will face his former team.
Juventus advance to the semifinals Italian Cup after eliminating Sassuolo in the quarterfinals. Bianconeri won with a score of 2-1 in the match which was held at the Allianz Stadium, Friday (11/2/2022) early morning WIB.
Vlahovic played a role in the second goal that decided Juventus’ victory. His individual action ended with a shot that led to Ruan’s own goal.
Juventus will next face Fiorentina in the semifinals of the Coppa Italia. Fiorentina qualified after a 3-2 win over Atalanta in the quarterfinals.
The semifinals will be played over two legs. That means Vlahovic will return to his former team at the Artemio Franchi. The match at the Artemio Franchi is scheduled for March 3 in the first leg.
Vlahovic’s move to Juventus was not well received by Fiorentina supporters. Is Vlahovic ready for an unpleasant reception at the Artemio Franchi?
“I just think about the game, winning and everything else is not very interesting for me,” Vlahovic said of the match against Fiorentina to Sport Mediaset.
“It will be a game like any other, we are here to play football and that’s not a problem for me,” he said.
Dusan Vlahovic left Fiorentina to join Juventus in the January transfer window. The Serbian international striker was recruited for a transfer value of 80 million euros.
