Juventus failed to sign a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo last summer. In Piedmont they now hope to have found the right one in Dusan Vlahovic.

The whole Dusan Vlahovic package can cost Juventus up to 153 million euros. The Italian series champion digged deep into his wallet in January to be able to compensate for the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo six months late.

Juve Vice President Pavel Nedved is convinced that he made the right transfer decision a few weeks ago. “He also absolutely surprised me, at the level of the European greats,” said Nedved on the Mediaset microphone. “I can compare him to Cristiano Ronaldo: he’s a 2000, has impressive mental strength and can do great things. The future belongs to him.”

With four goals and one assist in seven competitive Juve games, Vlahovic has made a very good first impression. On Wednesday evening in the semi-final first leg of the Coppa Italia against his ex-club Fiorentina, Vlahovic failed to score.
