Juventus have begun seriously considering a move for Chelsea’s wasteful striker Armando Broja as they look to replace Arkadiusz Milik.
The Bianconeri have decided to sign the 30-year-old Polish striker this summer as they look to revitalise the team under new coach Thiago Motta, with sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli keen to remove the player’s €3.5m-per-season net salary from the books.
Broja is not part of Enzo Maresca’s new project at Chelsea and the club are keen to find a buyer for the striker in the coming weeks, preferring a permanent transfer to a loan deal. There are currently no concrete offers for the 22-year-old, leaving his future shrouded in doubt.
Juventus turns to Broja
Pages 34 and 35 of today’s newspaper Sports Journal details how Juventus have started to consider making a move for Broja in the coming days, keen to find a reliable replacement for Milik in Motta’s new team.
The Old Lady are considering offering a loan deal with an option to buy, hoping that the lack of competition will make the Blues more open to such a deal.
