Juventus star to spark bidding war as he refuses new contract ahead of free transfer

Inter beat Juve in the Coppa Italia thriller

In a game that literally happened at the last second, Inter Milan overcame Juventus to continue their dominance in Italy and lift the Supercopa Italia in the process.

The Nerazzuri fell behind early through Weston McKennie, to equalize from the spot ten minutes before half-time, Lautaro Martinez coldly firing Wojciech Szczesny. But, in what turned out to be a relatively even affair, it took until the final seconds of extra time to separate the sides.

As a penalty shoot-out looms, a loose ball fell on former Arsenal and Manchester United man Alexis Sanchez, who fired from six yards, winning the trophy for Inter Milan in the process.

And there could still be worse repercussions for Juve.

Dybala will start a bidding war

After the match, news broke that Paulo Dybala had decided not to renew his current contract at the club, which expires in June. He joins a long list of free agents this summer which is currently expected to include Paul Pogba, Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele and Antonio Rudiger.

At just 28 and recognized as one of the best players in Serie A, it is certain that if the Argentine left he would have a long list of suitors, with the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham having already shown interest. while Barcelona are keen to rebuild using free agents amid financial turmoil.

Would he be suitable for a move to the Premier League?
