What are the characteristics of Timothy Weah?
« Tim is a very dynamic player, with great working speed and excellent timing to run behind the defence. He can have a big impact in possession of the ball and contribute with his game to goals and assists. He has a good knowledge of the defensive structure, I think the coach will employ him a lot and use his knowledge inside the box. »
His father was a superstar, can Timothy aspire to the same career?
« They will have different paths, but they will both be very successful. Tim has already won the championship several times and participated in the World Cup, it is not given to everyone to realize these things at 23 years old. I think he will continue to do well in Italy. »
Can he play in a position other than a winger in a 433?
« For me there is no problem, he is versatile and can play in different positions. We like him in an offensive position, because he is ready to hurt the opposition at any time. »
Massimiliano Allegri will help him develop as a player?
« Allegri is a great coach, he has won a lot in recent years. I’m sure he will guide Tim and help him grow within the club. »
He is a low scoring player. Should we advise the staff of Juve to train him a lot with regard to finishing?
« He is still a young player, there are qualities that he must continue to develop. We are convinced that Juve will work a lot with him, the objective will be to continue to grow him as much as possible. »
What does it mean for the United States to have another star in Italy?
« I think that’s a good thing. Having our players in the top leagues is important for Team USA. I will be watching, as I always have, one of the best leagues in the world, Serie A. Juve are a top club. Juve is a big club. »
