Another presence in the 2025 Club World Cup has been confirmed. Given the elimination of Napoli, against Barcelona on Tuesday night, Juventus secured a place in the competition, for ranking European.
From 2025, the format of the Club World Cup will change. Already confirmed by Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA, the change will involve the number of teams — there will be 32 teams, of which 20 are already qualified.
Reaching this round number happened tonight, when, in Spain, Barcelona eliminated Napoli from the round of 16 of the Champions League, winning 3-1. In this way, Juventus guaranteed qualification for the Club World Cup, as it is the most successful club in Italian football.
For European football, Paris SG, Bayern, Inter, Borussia Dortmund, FC Porto, Benfica, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Chelsea have already qualified and there are still three places – the last three qualified by winning the Champions League.
