“Juventus Ready to Sell Major Players if They Miss Europe Due to Penalty”

A few months ago, Juventus was sanctioned with 15 points in the standings by Italian justice for financial fraud. But a few weeks later, the Turin club recovered its points by winning its appeal of the decision. However, the case is not yet over since a third and final judgment is expected in the coming weeks. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the earthquake following a further loss of points recovered on appeal could extend to the entire core and even affect the locker room executives.

The specter of penalty, the sale of incumbents?

In some sporting decline in recent seasons after having outrageously dominated Serie A, Juventus is also experiencing financial difficulties following these losses on the ground and must be careful with its expenses. An absence from the Champions League, or even the Europa League, in the event of a penalty in the standings could thus push the Old lady to seriously reduce its workforce in order to remain sound in its finances. An exodus would then be expected.

In thinking about the constitution of the workforce for next season, Juventus have already planned to establish a mix between young players and experienced executives, but not at any price.
