Now it’s official. As we had foreseen, disciplinary proceedings against PSG were formally opened on Wednesday evening in Turin for the behavior of its supporters. Expenses withheld are “Use of pyrotechnic devices” et “Throwing Objects”. In fact, the Parisian fans fired dozens of smoke bombs into the tribune reserved for them at the Juventus Stadium and launched various bullets in the direction of the lawn.
The case will be dealt with at the end of November by the UEFA Disciplinary Commission. It is added to the one already opened by the European body after PSG-Haifa, on 25 October, for “use of fireworks” et “Provocative messages of an offensive nature” in the stands of the Parisian cloister, also examined at the end of the month.
That evening, at the very beginning of the meeting, a dozen Palestinian flags had blossomed in the bend of the Auteuil. Then, at the start of the second half, the Collectif Ultras Paris pulled out a larger flag than Palestine and unfolded a banner “Gaza exists, Gaza resists, free Palestine”.
