Juventus deliver latest injury updates to Leonardo Bonucci and Paul Pogba.
The Italy international started against Sampdoria on Sunday night but was substituted during the break, while Pogba was not included in the squad list due to a muscle injury.
Both players underwent medical checks at J Medical on Monday morning.
“Bonucci suffered blunt force trauma to his left leg and his condition will be monitored daily, while Paul Pogba suffered a low-grade tear in his right thigh adductor,” the Bianconeri said in an official statement.
“Il [Pogba] has already begun the rehabilitation process aimed at resuming competitive activity.”
Both players are set to miss Thursday’s Europa League round of 16 second leg against SC Freiburg.
The Old Lady won the first leg 1-0 in Turin last week.
Pogba has made just two appearances for the Old Lady since returning as a free agent from Manchester United last summer when he signed a four-year contract with the Bianconeri.
Bonucci has also struggled with several injuries this season, missing 13 games in all competitions. The Italy international has made 21 appearances this season, scoring two goals.
