Juventus offers Kaio Jorge, the new Brazilian nugget

Santos FC and Juventus, from Italy, entered into an agreement for the negotiation of striker Kaio Jorge this Monday (August 2). The Italian team accepted the terms of the Fish and the player will now be released to play in Europe.

“Juventus have accepted our terms which are really the best for our club at the moment, given the current situation. Good luck to Kaio Jorge in Europe ”, said Andres Rueda, president of Santos FC.

Kaio Jorge’s contract with the Brazilian club expired on December 31, 2021 and Santos did not want to see his nugget leave the club without receiving any transfer fee. Juventus has also spent 4 million euros to secure the services of the Brazilian striker.

Santos will immediately receive 1.5 million euros and then 1.5 million if Juventus qualifies for the next Champions League (2022-2023). Finally, another million will be paid according to the number of matches of Kaio Jorge under his new colors.

Born January 24, 2002, Kaio Jorge arrived in Santos in 2012, a club renowned for its training center (Pelé, Robinho, Neymar). In November 2017, at the age of fifteen, he was upgraded to the Under-20 team. He then made his professional debut on September 30, 2018 at the age of sixteen. In total, he scored 17 goals in all competitions and delivered 4 assists in 84 matches for Santos. In recent months, he’s been teaming up with another promise from Santos, Ângelo Gabriel.

International in the Under-15s and then the Under-17s, he won the Under-17 World Cup in 2019, receiving the Bronze Shoe after scoring five goals and delivering an assist.
