Juventus Midfielder Nicolò Fagioli’s Ban and Contract Extension: Latest Updates on Manuel Locatelli’s Renewal

Per Nicolò Fagioli it’s a rather complicated period: the midfielder of Juventus is serving a ban for betting on illegal sites, so will not be available to Massimiliano Allegri practically for the entire season – return expected on May 19th -. The plea agreement, in fact, provides for 12 months of punishment: seven months of disqualification plus five commuted to alternative prescriptions. The Juventus club, however, has shown great closeness to him and will soon have him sign a contract extension until 2028. The midfielder, who can continue to train with the team, currently has an agreement until 2026 but will soon sign to stay in Turin for another two seasons. An important signal that certifies the club’s willingness to focus on him for the future.

Locatelli towards renewal

However, Fagioli is not the only one ready to sign his stay at the Vecchia Signora. After Gatti, in fact, it will be the turn of Manuel Locatelli, protagonist of a super start to the season. The former Sassuolo player is a fundamental player for Allegri who is unlikely to give up on him: with 884 minutes he is behind only Bremer (894) and Rabiot (900). In an atmosphere of maximum cordiality, some appointments have already taken place between the management couple Giuntoli-Manna and the agent of the midfielder Stefano Castelnovo to verify the possibility of extending the current relationship which will expire in June 2026. Then on the “podium” Bremer will probably go up. Also in the queue are Rugani, Vlahovic and Chiesa, whose agent Ramadani met Juventus last week in Milan precisely to begin laying the foundations of the new agreement intended to extend the relationship which currently expires in 2025.
