Serie A giants Juventus are in talks with Manchester United for Jadon Sancho.
According to Sky Sports UK (via Football Italia), Juventus are also discussing personal terms for Sancho.
The report suggests they have a “firm interest” in the player and are exploring terms of a deal, while also talking to the player’s entourage about personal terms.
Sancho could be an alternative to Nico Gonzalez, or an additional player for the wide role, as he can play on the left or right.
The move comes as Fiorentina announced they did not have the “right conditions” to sell Nico Gonzalez to Juventus, asking for €40 million.
It’s no secret that the Bianconeri are interested in signing Sancho, but their hopes were seemingly dashed when the player resolved the issues he had with Erik ten Hag and ended their feud.
He spent the final six months of the season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, the same club he left for €85m to come to Old Trafford in 2021.
His contract runs until June 2026, but there is an option to extend for another year.
This could give Juve some scope to strike a loan deal with an option to buy with Manchester United, spreading the cost of the initial €47m valuation.
