Juventus recently suffered a sanction, with a penalty of 15 points in the case of fictitious capital gains. This is a sanction that the club finds unfair and severe and has therefore decided to appeal to the CONI Guarantee Board. This appeal was filed on the evening of Tuesday, February 28, before the match against Torino. The club had 30 days to make an appeal and it was made.
Following this appeal, the approval of Juventus’ consolidated half-year financial report as of December 31, 2022 has been postponed for one week. The club officially announced this in a press release: Juventus Football Club SpA announces that the consolidated interim financial report as of December 31, 2022, the approval of which was awaited – according to the timetable – with the Board of Directors convened for March 1, 2023, will be subject to the Board of Directors scheduled for March 8, 2023 in order to allow the examination of the documents filed yesterday, February 27, 2023, by the Public Prosecutor’s Office in the context of the criminal proceedings pending before the Judicial Authority of Turin. »
Before the match, Juventus lodged an appeal with the CONI Guarantee College regarding the 15-point penalty.
